Questions?

Get answers to common questions about colocation, pricing, data center services, the onboarding process, and working with DataHub Innovations.

What is edge colocation and why does location matter?

Edge colocation means housing your servers and hardware in a data center physically close to your users and your team. Unlike hyperscale facilities hundreds of miles away, an edge facility like ours in Los Angeles delivers lower network latency, faster access for your IT staff, and better performance for local-serving applications — all while maintaining enterprise-grade uptime and security.

What's included with a Partial Cabinet?

Partial Cabinets start at $399/month and include 5U, 10U, or larger partial rack allocations with both A and B power feeds, 24/7 facility access, physical security, and the option to add Smarter Hands support. It's the ideal entry point for businesses that need reliable, managed colocation without the cost of a full cabinet.

Can I scale from a partial rack to a full cabinet later?

Absolutely — and this is one of our most popular growth paths. Our infrastructure is designed with Scale by Design as a core principle, meaning you can expand from a partial rack to a full cabinet, or from one cabinet to a multi-rack DataHub environment, without migrating providers or disrupting your operations. We plan the transition with you at every step.

What compliance standards does your facility meet?

Our Los Angeles facility maintains Tier III+ certification along with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and NIST 800-53 compliance. For businesses in regulated industries like legal, financial services, and healthcare, colocating in a compliant facility strengthens your own compliance posture without building those controls from scratch.

What's included with a Full Cabinet?

A Full Cabinet is $2,150/month and includes a dedicated 42U cabinet, a 5 kW standard power allotment, A and B redundant power feeds, priority Smarter Hands support, and dedicated account management. Multi-rack pricing is available if you need more than one cabinet.

Is your connectivity carrier-neutral?

Yes. DataHub Innovations offers carrier-neutral connectivity with dual-path network options, so you can choose the carriers and bandwidth that fit your business rather than being locked into a single provider.

Can I access my equipment in person?

Yes. Clients have 24/7 facility access. Because our data center is in Los Angeles, teams across Southern California can reach their equipment in minutes instead of traveling to a distant hyperscale facility. If you'd rather not make the trip, our Smarter Hands technicians can handle the work for you.

Do you offer services beyond colocation?

Yes. In addition to partial cabinets, full cabinets, and multi-rack environments, we offer IT advisory and AI-readiness planning, Smarter Hands on-site support and IT maintenance, enterprise hardware sales and deployment, and business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

What does "Smarter Hands" support mean?

Smarter Hands goes beyond standard remote hands. Our trained technicians can perform tasks like server racking and cabling, equipment troubleshooting, firmware updates, hardware swaps, and more — on your behalf, on-site, exactly when you need it. It's like having a dedicated data center technician on call without the full-time headcount cost.

Do you support AI and high-density compute workloads?

Yes — AI-ready infrastructure is a core focus for us. High-density GPU servers and AI compute workloads demand more power and cooling per rack unit than traditional servers. We work with you to design the right power allocation, cooling approach, and network architecture to support your AI workloads efficiently and reliably at the edge.

How quickly can I get onboarded?

After your initial consultation and proposal approval, most clients are able to begin deploying hardware within days to a couple of weeks, depending on their configuration. We pride ourselves on fast, organized onboarding that gets you online and operational as quickly as possible — far faster than large hyperscale providers.

How much does colocation cost in Los Angeles?

At DataHub Innovations, Partial Cabinets start at $399/month and a Full 42U Cabinet is $2,150/month, both with A and B redundant power. Multi-rack, high-density, and custom environments are quoted individually. Our pricing is transparent with no hidden fees, and every proposal is tailored to the power, space, and support you actually need.

What uptime and power redundancy do you provide?

Our facility is built for 99.999% uptime. Every cabinet receives A and B redundant power feeds, so if one feed fails the other takes over automatically, backed by UPS systems and emergency generators.

What is the difference between colocation and the cloud?

With colocation, you own your servers and your data, and we provide the secure environment they run in: power, cooling, physical security, connectivity, and on-site support. With public cloud, you rent compute on someone else's hardware. Many growing businesses choose colocation for predictable costs, full control of their hardware, and performance for workloads like AI and high-density compute, and some run both in a hybrid setup.

What industries does DataHub Innovations serve?

We serve growing businesses across Southern California, with deep experience in legal, financial services, healthcare, and entertainment, which are industries where security, compliance, and uptime are non-negotiable. Our founders spent fifteen years in legal eDiscovery solving complex data challenges for demanding clients.
